Herrick 2.0

Finished Version for my Herrick 2.0 OC
It's still difficult to find the right shapes for his face and a normal little sketch takes me hours...
Everything except a sketchy portrait ends in a desaster at the moment. Seems 2017 isn't starting very comfortable for me.
First I got ill, than water drips out of the wall in the bathroom.... and a nice lack of creativity.

But hey, this portait isn't too bad I think.
Let me tell you some infos about Herrick and his background.

First of all, I mentioned it before, but you maybe now Herrick from here: m-i-d-s.deviantart.com/art/Her…

He was a young starry-eyed knight with a sence of justice around his 20th.
He ended up in the crossfire between Grismina (his hometown) and the pirate crew (the Rakazel) and get caught as traitor from his captain.
Captain Gillermo kept him prisoned and tortured Herrick for an undetermined time. From there he got his scars.

After that Herrick had a hard time to handle his life. Injured physically and mental with Gillermo who's still chasing his mind.
He drunk a lot and hide away. 

Some day he went to a country doc to get rid of his achings. His bone fractures were bad healed and still hurt.
He met the doc's daughter, a rather unattractive girl but later married her. They got two little girls.
But Herrick was still insecure and upcoming events brought back dark toughts.
They must leave their country and with that they also got divorced because his wife couldn't bear him longer.

Alone again he tried different sword jobs, but his pain brought him far away from being a good swordsman, so he started some more dubious jobs.

Years later he travelled to the South to search for a good doc again. He met a mysterious magician there and became his friend.
Finally this magician was able to take the pain from Herrick. And not just that, he took all sense of pain from him.
As reward Herrick started to work for his friend with some new lust for life now.

And that is where his part of the story takes place now. He collects magical items for his boss and friend. But before he get it, the magical item is stolen already.

Aaaaand sooo on....damn, so much text now. It is so difficult to tell the story in just a few words.
